Veterans' sacrifices follow them home from war and last a lifetime. Empower them to strive toward new lives as you make your Veterans Day gift of $25, $50 or $100 now.
Dear Robert,
Imagine being one of America's troops – sound in body and mind one day, but carried from combat on a stretcher the next!
With Veterans Day just a couple of weeks away, I'm grateful to you for providing urgently needed help to veterans who have lived through this crisis!
Some lost sight or hearing; others gave arms or legs. Enormous numbers came home from Afghanistan and Iraq with PTSD and traumatic brain injuries.
After such severe sacrifices, you'd never dream our nation would send them back into battle with a bureaucracy to get benefits they need to get on with the rest of their lives!
But through DAV, you're there for them, Robert.
You help DAV keep these ill and injured veterans from being pushed aside.
Who can measure what these heroes sacrificed for you and me? No one!
But we must make sure sick and injured veterans can pay their mortgages, care for their children, and adjust to utterly changed lives.
All year round, we must live up to the spirit of Veterans Day, Robert.
And you'll do just that as you give $25 ... $50 ... $100 ... or more now!
Sincerely,
Marc Burgess
