Nic was a Special Warfare Operator with the elite Naval Special Warfare Development Group (SEAL Team Six) from 2006 until his death Dec. 8, 2012. He enlisted in the Navy in 2002 and was recruited to the highly secretive DEVGRU team in just 4 years, a testament to his superior skills as a Navy SEAL and special warfare operator.
