FW: Action Alert: April 21, 2016, VVA Call-in Day on the Hill

Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

This is the day!

Subject: Action Alert: April 21, 2016, VVA Call-in Day on the Hill

ACTION ALERT!!

ACTION ALERT: On April 21, 2016, please call your members of Congress who have NOT co-sponsored H.R. 1769 or S.901

Message from John Rowan, VVA National President

LET YOUR VOICES BE HEARD IN THE HALLS OF CONGRESS
It is all about the one-minute phone call. Let your politicians know that you are watching and that you care.
On April 21, 2016, please call (202) 224-3121, and give the operator your state or zip code, and he/she will connect you with your elected official's office. Ask to speak to the LA for Veterans Affairs, and make it clear that you are calling as a constituent, asking for their support of H.R. 1769 and S.901, the Toxic Exposure Research Act.
Passage of the Toxic Exposure Research Act is one of the most important efforts that we can do collectively to insure that future military service generations learn from our experience and that our offspring receive the respect and consideration for the sacrifices and pain that they endure from illnesses due to our service in Vietnam.
Your voices were heard on the 3rd call-in day. We need to keep up the momentum.
This is one of our last battles—Losing is not an option.

Make the call on April 21, 2016

John Rowan
VVA National President
