Subject: Missing, But Not Forgotten

Dear Robert,
Friday, September 19th seems like a rather uneventful day to most. But in fact, it is a very important day. It is POW/MIA Recognition Day.
For anyone unfamiliar with what this day represents, it is a day to remember the more than 88,000 military personnel who are still unaccounted for from conflicts dating back to World War II.
Families missing service members know the pain of uncertainty and the frustration of time lost for their loved one. At DVNF, we recognize all who are gone, but not forgotten, and our hearts go out to the families whose loved one never returned.
I often talk about sacrifice, and for all those missing, and for their families, they know what sacrifice really is. So on Friday, I hope that you will join us in remembering all those who are missing, but not forgotten.
And if you haven't done so already, I hope you will visit our Honor Wall to see the respects paid to past service members. If you would like to honor the veteran in your life, you can make a donation in memory of, or in their honor.
Sincerely,
Joseph VanFonda (USMC SgtMaj Ret.)
CEO
DVNF
